M75 wireless magnetic sensor – Extend your motorcycle alarm protection

The Patrolline M75 is a wireless magnetic sensor designed to detect the opening of a door, storage box or compartment around your motorcycle.

Compatible with the MAX 4.0 and MAX 5.0 motorcycle alarms, the M75 extends detection to an opening fitted with a magnetic contact, without additional wiring between the sensor and the control unit.

How does the M75 sensor work?

The M75 works using a magnetic contact. The sensor and its magnet are positioned opposite each other when the protected element is closed.

When the door, storage box or compartment is opened, the magnet moves away from the sensor. The M75 detects this separation and wirelessly transmits the information to the Patrolline control unit.

This principle is particularly suitable for openings with a fixed part and a moving part:

• Garage or shed door
• Sliding or hinged door
• Motorcycle top box or pannier
• Storage box, hatch or compartment
• Cabinet or other compatible opening

No wiring is required between the protected opening and the control unit: detection takes place locally through the magnetic contact and the information is transmitted wirelessly.

M75 and M73: two complementary detection methods

The M75 detects an opening through the separation of the sensor and its magnet. It is therefore particularly suitable for openings with a fixed part and a moving part.

For applications where opening causes a change in tilt, the M73 wireless tilt sensor is the complementary solution, particularly for a tilting garage door or motorcycle top box lid.

Both M73 and M75 are compatible with MAX 4.0 and MAX 5.0 alarms. They can therefore be combined to adapt detection to the different equipment and access points around your motorcycle.
