A complete alarm operated by remote controls

The TecnoGlobe 4.0 uses multifunction remote controls that give the rider direct control over the alarm’s functions.

• Arming and disarming: direct remote control of the protection.
• Panic function: voluntary activation of the siren to attract attention or deter someone near the vehicle.
• Automatic rearming: the system rearms when it has been disarmed but the vehicle is not subsequently used.
• Alarm memory: notification of an activation that occurred while the owner was away.
• Silent mode: use of certain functions without audible confirmation, depending on configuration.
• Emergency override: the control unit can be disarmed using a personal code if the remote control is unavailable.

Unlike the Keyless 3.0 solution, the 4.0 does not depend on the manufacturer’s electronic key. It has its own controls and adds engine immobilisation to the vehicle’s protection.

Impact, tilt, lifting and towing detection

The 4.0 monitors the motorcycle while parked and reacts to the main types of handling associated with theft or damage.

• Impact detection: monitors blows and attempted break-ins.
• Tilt detection: triggers when the motorcycle’s position changes abnormally.
• Lifting detection: protects against loading or moving the vehicle.
• Towing detection: reacts to abnormal movement while armed.
• Adjustable sensitivity: detection can be adapted to the vehicle and its surroundings.

In the event of an alert, the self-powered siren sounds and the indicators provide a visual warning.

Optional perimeter and intrusion protection

The TecnoGlobe 4.0 can accept optional detection modules to protect more than the motorcycle itself. Depending on the module and installation, this extension can monitor:

• a top box;
• panniers or storage compartments;
• a garage or lock-up door;
• an access point, opening or protected area;
• a trailer or nearby parked equipment.

When a sensor detects an opening or intrusion, it sends the information to the motorcycle’s control unit to trigger the alarm.

Dedicated Plug & Play wiring: no modification to the original wiring loom

The quality of an alarm depends not only on the control unit, but also on how it is connected to the motorcycle.

When a compatible reference is available, TecnoGlobe uses dedicated Plug & Play alarm wiring. It connects directly to the motorcycle manufacturer’s original connectors. The motorcycle wiring loom is not cut, stripped or soldered and remains completely unmodified.

The original motorcycle wiring loom remains intact and the manufacturer’s warranty is preserved.
